This concert was so beyond fun. 3500-something people came out to the Albuquerque Zoo to see these guys send an amazing show on a perfect afternoon. They spent much of their set break talking with fans. After making our hands bleed during the encore, they came out again to meet and greet & sign. Never met a friendlier, happier band - especially not one with such catchy talent. Check these guys out! They're coming back to New Mexico and to NEW MEXICO TECH on March 26th 2010 at Macey. Free for students! No excuses, do it! I may be living in Chicago again by that time but I may have to make a visit...
These were all taken quite a ways from the stage, separated by a duck pond moat. After getting in later than I would have liked, an empty patch of grass up front among the masses was nothing short of lucky. As always, no flash was used. |
